The Training System
Stow’s manual of instruction for school-teachers and managers, variously entitled but collectively known as ‘The Training System’, ran to eleven editions. Extant copies of all are accessible in UK libraries. The seventh, eighth and tenth editions are available unabridged on the Internet via Google Books (www.books.google.com/). The tenth edition has also been reprinted as a facsimile by Elibron Classics, (www.elibron.com) and Kessinger Publishing (www.kessinger.net).
